The Benin Journal of Public Law is the first departmental Journal of the Faculty of Law, University of Benin. The Journal is the Department’s contribution to the quest for academic excellence especially in the area of public Law.
We thank the contributors who responded to our call for papers. We hope that the enthusiasm generated by the invitation for papers can be sustained. This will go a long way in assisting the Editorial Committee to meet the target of publishing the Journal twice in year.
We must not fail to also express our profound gratitude to our assessors, the Head of Department of public Law and indeed the entire editorial team for making this maiden edition of the Journal a dream come true.
